Disabled man rescued from mud by Fire and Rescue Service

The man had got into trouble in mud at Stapleford.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:

‘On 3 January our crews, supported by the specialist rescue team from Highfields Fire Station attended the area between Bulk Lane Stapleford and Cemetery Road Stapleford.

‘A disabled gentleman was reported as being marooned in the mud.

‘Firefighters wearing water rescue equipment freed him from the mud and led him to safety.
