Do you recognise these three stolen bikes recovered in West Bridgford?

Police are appealing for information after a number of suspected stolen bikes were spotted by residents and recovered.

Three bikes, all suspected to have been stolen within the past two weeks, were recovered from the Abbey Road and Eltham Road areas of West Bridgford on Thursday 10 February and Thursday 17 February 2022.

Police have now released images of the bikes in hopes of returning them to their rightful owners.

PCSO Jodie Turner, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“After successfully recovering three bikes, which we believed to have been stolen, we are now wanting to get them back to their rightful owners.

“Cycling is a great hobby and form of transport, so no doubt there were people left devastated when they found that their bikes had been taken.

“We’re now asking for anyone who recognises the bikes to come forward so they can be returned. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or get in touch directly with the West Bridgford team.”

The team will beat a bike marking event at Abbey Park, West Bridgford from 10am-12pm on Wednesday 13 April, where members of the community are encouraged to speak to officers about keeping their bikes secure.
