Popular Nottingham doughnut store Doughnotts has announced its opening date in West Bridgford.
The shop opens this Friday 9 June at 9 am and is located on Gordon Road, right next to Bombay Sweet Centre.
The site is the former Okende Provisions store which has closed down.
The team have been hard at work this week fitting the shop!
The first 50 customers will get a free salted caramel doughnut with their purchase!
The opening times for the store will be:
Monday-Saturday – 9 am-6 pm
Sunday – 10 am-4:30 pm
Doughnotts was started in 2015 by Megan Scaddan and Wade Smith, they made doughnuts at home with just £10 and a wok, and after realising there was nothing like this on the market they decided to start selling these on Facebook and at food festivals.
After 6 months they opened their first store in Nottingham city centre.
Since then they have put all their efforts into growing the company.
Eight years on and Doughnotts have eight stores in locations like Birmingham Bullring, Lincoln, Leicester and more. They have over 60 staff members, West Bridgford will be their 9th store and have two more stores lined up to open by the end of 2023.
