Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) say thank you to members of East Midlands Dressage Group for raising over £1,000 at their summer fun ride held earlier in the year.
Honorary Secretary, Liz Hanson said “We raised £1084.00 for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance in May this year from a fun ride on the beautiful Thoresby Estate, Lincolnshire, with kind permission from Gregor and Kathryn Pierrepont.
We chose LNAA once again as over the years our club has had the services of the air ambulance and being that no direct funding comes from the government and many of our events and riders are in very rural areas, to have the assistance of the LNAA to facilitate swift action to treat, we felt was something that deserved our help”.
LNAA Community fundraiser, Jac Sutherland, said “As a charity, we rely on the generosity of groups like East Midlands Dressage Group to keep our helicopter in the skies and our fleet of critical care cars on the roads delivering emergency medicine and treatments to patients involved in some of the worst incidents across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
“Together we can be by the side of more patients.”
