Drink-driver who collided with a house banned from driving for two years

PUBLISHED:

A man has banned driving for two years after being found guilty of dangerous and drink driving at Nottingham Crown Court this week.

36-year-old Dale Stewart of West End Avenue, Bentley, Doncaster was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, after a car left the road and collided with a house in Thrumpton Lane in Retford on 10 November 2018.

The car spun, hit a kerb and smashed into the house.

He has been given a nine-month suspended sentence.

He must also complete 25 rehabilitation days, 120 hours of unpaid work and pay costs of £450.
