The vehicle left the carriageway and hit the concrete base of an overhead gantry.
Police said the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel of his car on the M1 in Derbyshire. The vehicle left the carriageway ploughing into the base of a gantry.
Luckily no-one was injured in the incident say police.
The incident was reported in the early hours of Sunday 22 May.
