Plainclothes officers noticed drug-related activity.
Inspector Craig Berry: “On Sat 23 May West Bridgford Officers undertook a plainclothes drugs operation.
“Officers observed suspicious drug-related behaviour between two men on the Gamston Canal near Morrisons supermarket.
“The two men, aged 28 and 29, were detained and searched from which a significant amount of cash, mobile phones and a quantity of cannabis were seized.
“Both men were then taken to West Bridgford Police Station where they were interviewed under caution.”
