A burst water main at East Leake fire station caused some households problems yesterday.
A spokesperson for the station said with a humorous pun:
‘Leake outside the Fire station today.
‘Severn Trent Water are currently dealing with the incident.
‘Please contact your water service provider if you have water issues.’

Residents in several roads in the area had no water for a time until the issue was dealt with by the water company.
