The airport provided a weather and operational update at 12:12 pm 9 March 2023.
12:40 pm EMA – Our runaway has reopened and flight operations have resumed.
The update reads:
‘Our runway remains closed as we work to clear the airfield.
‘Our ground handling teams are all operational and we have multiple de-icing machines in service.
‘Health and Safety will always be out top priority and we are working hard to reopen the runway at the earliest opportunity.’
‘Passengers are advised to contact their airline for the most up-to-date flight information.’
