East Midlands Railway services running normally after flooding

After flooding affecting rail services from Nottingham on Sunday, services are now running.

East Midlands Railway said on Monday 25 November:

‘After heavy rain flooding the railway between Kettering and Leicester our trains on the London/ Nottingham/ Sheffield and Corby/London routes can now run normally.

‘Now that the line has reopened our priority is to resume our advertised timetable for start of service in the morning (25th November).

‘If you deferred your journey, arrangements have been made so that you can use your tickets dated 24th November to travel today, the 25th November.’
