East Midlands Trains to continue running trains during industrial action

PUBLISHED:

RMT have announced their intent to carry out industrial action on Saturday 20 July, Saturday 27 July and Saturday 3 August. There are amended timetables and services. 

On the above dates, trains to and from London St Pancras International will not be impacted and will run as planned. Whilst services will continue to run on the majority of local routes, there will be revised timetables and replacement coach services on some routes.

Summary of services running on Saturday 20 July, Saturday 27 July and Saturday 3 August:

London – Nottingham – Leicester – Sheffield

Trains will continue to run as normal.

Derby – Matlock

A reduced service will run on this route. The following trains will not run:

15:52 Derby to Matlock
17:53 Derby to Matlock
19:52 Derby to Matlock
22:16 Derby to Matlock – This service will run as a rail replacement coach

16:37 Matlock to Derby
18:37 Matlock to Derby
20:37 Matlock to Derby
22:55 Matlock to Derby – This service will run as a rail replacement coach

Derby – Stoke-on-Trent – Crewe

Trains will continue to run as normal.

Nottingham – Grantham – Skegness

A near normal service will run on this route including the additional summer Saturday 8 coach HST services. Click here to check the revised timetable.

Nottingham – Newark Castle – Lincoln

A near normal service will run on this route.

Nottingham to Newark Castle will be serviced by one train per hour instead of our normal two. Click here to check the revised timetable.

Liverpool Lime Street – Nottingham

A reduced service will run on this route. The following trains will not run:

13:51 Liverpool to Nottingham
15:51 Liverpool to Nottingham
19:52 Liverpool to Nottingham
20:49 Liverpool to Nottingham

05:20 Nottingham to Liverpool
10:47 Nottingham to Liverpool
11:47 Nottingham to Liverpool
16:44 Nottingham to Liverpool
17:44 Nottingham to Liverpool
19:36 Nottingham to Manchester Piccadilly. (Please note that this is usually the last direct service. You may use your ticket on board the East Midlands Trains 20:24 Nottingham to Sheffield service to connect with trains to Manchester Piccadilly.)

Nottingham – Mansfield – Worksop

A reduced service will run between Nottingham and Mansfield Woodhouse. Replacement coaches will run between Mansfield and Worksop. Click here to check the revised timetable.

Doncaster – Lincoln – Peterborough

Replacement coaches will run on this route. Click here to check the revised timetable.

Lincoln – Grimsby – Cleethorpes

Replacement coaches will run on this route. Click here to check the revised timetable.

Leicester – Nottingham (serving intermediate stations)

Replacement coaches will run calling at Syston, Sileby and Barrow-upon-Soar. Please note that direct trains will still run between Leicester, Loughborough, Beeston and Nottingham as part of the London – Nottingham route. Click here to check the revised timetable.

Derby – Nottingham – Newark Castle

East Midlands Trains services will not run on this route.

Rail replacement coaches will run to Attenborough. Click here for the rail replacement timetable and connections.

Nottingham – Norwich

East Midlands Trains services will not run on this route. You may use your ticket on board East Midlands Trains Nottingham – Grantham services. You may then use your ticket on board LNER, CrossCountry and Greater Anglia services for stations beyond.

Newark North Gate – Lincoln  

Services will not run on this route. A rail replacement coach service will take you between Newark North Gate and Newark Castle where you may connect with our train service to / from Lincoln. Click here for the revised Newark Castle – Lincoln timetable.
