The fire was at Trinity Square in the city in the early hours.
Update at 03:15AM: ‘The fire is now out and crews are starting to leave the scene. There has been no injuries. A fire Investigation will commence later today.
‘We currently have eight fire engines in attendance at a building fire at the Trinity Square in the City Centre following a call at 1:13AM this morning (Monday 2 August).
‘We have London Road, Stockhill, Arnold, West Bridgford, Highfields, Mansfield, Carlton Fire Station in attendance, as well as Ascot Drive Fire Station from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service.’
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said at 2:25 am 2 August:
‘We currently have eight fire engines in attendance at a fire at Trinity Square. Crews on scene are working hard to extinguish the fire.
‘If you’re up and out in the City Centre, please avoid this area.’
In an update at 3:30 am:
‘The fire is now out and a Fire Investigation will commence later today.’
