Officers have arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of multiple driving offences following a crash in St Ann’s.
At around 3.15pm on Thursday 19 June, police say that they received a report of a road traffic collision involving a police vehicle and an electric bike in Marmion Road in St Ann’s.
A spokesperson said:
‘The rider of the bike was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg. His injuries are not believed be life-altering or life-threatening.
‘One officer was also taken to hospital for a precautionary check-up.
‘The rider of the bike has now been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including dangerous driving and having no licence or insurance.’
