Southwell – Police are investigating a shop burglary where a steel cutter was used to gain access.
An electric saw is believed to have been used to cut through security shutters covering the doors.
The break-in at Co-Op, The Ropewalk, Southwell, was reported to police around 3am today (9 February).
Once inside the store, intruders reportedly helped themselves to two cash tills before fleeing from the scene.

Sergeant Mark Walker, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“While this happened in the early hours of the morning, there’s a chance this could’ve still been witnessed.
“If you saw what happened or think you may have inadvertently recorded it on your CCTV or doorbell camera, please let us know.”
