As part of its community engagement activity, as a joint enterprise with the County Cricket Club, Ellerslie Cricket Club, at Little Bounds, West Bridgford, is promoting a
Walking Cricket Open Day for men and women over 50.
The event will take place on the morning of Sunday 23rd May from 9.30am.
Admission is free, all are welcome, previous experience is not essential and there’s no need to book in advance. Light refreshments will be available.
Walking Cricket is an all-year-round social activity for men and women over 50, which is normally played indoors.
The emphasis is on enjoyment, social interaction and exercise.
It’s a growing pastime nationwide and is ideal for cricket enthusiasts, former players and anyone interested in cricket and maintaining social contacts.
Those who truly enjoy the experience have the opportunity to go to join a walking cricket team.
