Two cars were involved in a crash at Iceland in Stapleford today.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service Stapleford Station said:
‘This morning we along with Ilkeston Community Fire Station Green Watch attended a report of a two vehicle collision in the Car Park of Iceland Derby Road Stapleford.
‘Initial reports suggested two people were trapped in one vehicle, which was resting over a wall.
‘Both occupants of the vehicle were freed by passers by before arrival of the fire service and walked away with minor injuries.
‘Firefighters working with Nottinghamshire Police, recovery and staff from Iceland made the vehicle safe and have taped off the area.
‘Iceland is back open and operating normally, although some access to the car park is now limited.
‘No further updates will be made available.’
