Many of us who have lived in Lady Bay have enjoyed visiting Kanu’s Rutland Stores over the decades.
Kanu is planning a send off event for people to go along and say goodbye as he moves on to retirement.
The Rutland Road store has provided fruit and veg and almost everything else that Lady Bay has needed over the years.
Kanu is closing Rutland Stores for the last time on Saturday 29 March.
He and his lovely family have been running the shop for the last 40 years.

He’ll be serving drinks and nibbles and saying his goodbyes on Saturday. All the best for the future to you and yours Kanu. Lady Bay just won’t be the same.
