Fast-growing Nottingham firm moves to new flagship HQ

A fast-growing company which supplies, repairs and maintains hand-held capture devices, mobile print and EPoS hardware, has expanded into new flagship premises in Nottingham after a deal brokered by commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors.

PLM Global has grown rapidly in recent times and has moved into the 3,773 sq ft Unit 8 Morris Court in colwick. The company has seen its employees increase from just 4 to 21, added another 100 clients to its customer base of 458 and increased total turnover to £3.1m.

Shane Watson, Joint Managing Director, said: “The move will mean that we will have the capacity to continue with our double digit growth plans for the next few years and it’s fantastic that our growth enables us to keep investing in people, of which the PLM board are extremely proud of.

“It has also allowed us to start a new apprenticeship scheme which will hopefully allow us to keep unearthing PLM’s stars of tomorrow.

Charlotte Steggles of NG added: “This was a quick fire deal and a great outcome for our landlord client. We’d agreed terms and instructed solicitors within two weeks of the premises hitting the market and we wish PLM Global all the best in their new home.

“We also have two more units coming back to the market which will be available from December 2021 one is 3,762 sq ft and the other is  4,662 sq ft. Please do get in touch for more details.”

Shane added: “Working with NG was fantastic, considering their role is predominantly working on behalf of their client, they made us feel comfortable and were very responsive when moving through the process. Special mention goes to Charlotte Steggles, who is an asset to their team.”
