Final closures announced on A46 Six Hills road works

National Highways announces its final overnight closures of the northbound carriageway, between 8 pm and 6 am this week until Friday 2 August.

There will then be two remaining closures of the southbound carriageway, overnight between 8pm and 6am, on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 August.

Closures will be between the A606 and A607 junctions, with a clearly signed diversion route in place via Melton Mowbray.

This will complete the work on this section of the A46.

‘We’d like to thank residents and motorists for your patience while these essential works were completed.

‘We’re sorry for the interruption this work may cause to your journey and we encourage drivers to plan ahead and allow extra time when travelling.

‘All closures are subject to change at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances or poor weather conditions. Please also note that there may be other works taking place in the same area which are not connected with this scheme.’
