The fire has spread to outbuildings and trees.
Incident Commander, Group Manager Leigh Holmes: “This fire is now under control and crews have done a brilliant job in preventing it from spreading to nearby properties.
“We’ve got a considerable amount of damping down to do now and will be here for some time.
“Thank you to our partners for their support and the local community for their patience.
“We expect to be scaling down the incident in a couple of hours and will provide further updates as appropriate.”
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said at 7:20 pm on Thursday 3 July:
‘We’ve got 10 fire engines at a blaze in the Carlton Forest area of Worksop.
‘This involves multiple outbuildings and has spread to a number of trees.
‘The volume of appliances is to help with water provision and Blyth Road is closed in both directions.’
