Crews are in attendance at a fire in Dunkirk.

‘We are starting to scale back our attendance at the fire on Alcester Street, Dunkirk. Four appliances will remain on scene – it’s likely we’re going to be on scene for the next few hours at least.
‘We still ask the public to stay away from the area to allow our firefighting to continue.’

‘We are currently in attendance at a recycling fire in Dunkirk, following a call at 4.22am.
‘Please avoid the area whilst our crews deal with the incident.
‘For those locally who can see or smell the smoke, please keep your doors and windows closed.’
