The incident was reported in Zouch village.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service Castle Donington Station said:
‘On Monday 12 August fire crews were called to a kitchen fire at a static mobile home backed on to the river soar in the village of Zouch.
‘Three appliances were in attendance utilising the light portable pump to augment the supply of water to the scene of operations.
‘Two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet were used at the incident.’
