‘Two pumps from Melton Mowbray Fire Station and our Water Carrier from Loughborough Station are currently supporting Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service colleagues in tackling a large fire north of the Nottinghamshire border at Langar Industrial Estate.
‘Please take extra care in these warm, dry conditions, and if you see a fire report it immediately by calling 999.’

‘Residents living nearby have been advised to keep doors and windows closed due to smoke plumes in the area.
‘People are also being asked to avoid the area while emergency services deal with the incident.
Crews from Bingham, West Bridgford, London Road, Newark and Highfields fire stations are in attendance, with support from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
‘More information will follow when it becomes available.’
