Fire crews from nine Notts and Derbyshire stations attend incident in Mansfield

Roads were closed in the early hours of this morning ( 19 September ) as several crews fought the blaze.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue were called to the incident in Rosemary Street in Mansfield at 3:52 this morning after reports of a fire.

Crews from Mansfield, Edwinstowe, Blidworth, Warsop, Ashfield, Bolsover, Shirebrook, Chesterfield and Long Eaton are in attendance worked hard to put the fire out

Nottinghamshire Police also attended and the road was closed.

In an update at 09:30 a spokesperson said:

The fire in Mansfield has been put out and Rosemary Street is now open. Crews from Nottinghamshire and  Derbyshire used eight breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera and an areal ladder platform to put it out.’
