Fire crews rescue a horse from a Nottinghamshire ditch

The incident took place at Gunthorpe.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:

‘Crews from Carlton and Warsop Fire Station rescued a horse that had fell into a ditch in Gunthorpe.

‘Patsy the horse is doing well after the rescue.’

Back in July crews from East Leake rescued a horse that has become stuck in West Bridgford.

And in June 2022 firefighters rescued a horse that had become stuck in mud for four hours at Attenborough.
