Fire crews rescue two adults, a child and a baby from Nottingham house fire

At 03:09 am on 4 August crews were called to a domestic fire at a home in Cullins Close, Rise Park, Nottingham.

A forty-year-old man, twenty-nine-year-old woman and three-year-old child and two-month-old baby were accounted for within 15 minutes.

They were rescued from the detached property using a nine-metre ladder.

Three fire engines from Arnold, Stockhill and Hucknall stations attended the scene.

Crews used a hose reel jet, breathing apparatuses and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.

The residents were assisted by paramedics at the scene and are currently undergoing further checks at Queens Medical Centre.

A Fire Investigation to determine the cause of the incident has taken place today.

Arnold Station Manager, Paul Harley, said: “Crews did an excellent job, working well as a team to rescue residents as quickly as possible and extinguish the fire.”
