Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the fire in Fairham Close.
Three crews attended the scene which happened this afternoon Tuesday 5 April.
The fire quickly spread to around eight sheds and outbuildings.
The call was received by NFRS at 4:26 pm and the blaze was quickly brought under control.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
An investigation into the cause of the fire will now begin.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
“We received a call at 4.26pm of a fire affecting multiple properties on Fairham Close in Ruddington.
“Crews from West Bridgford, Highfields and Carlton were called.
“Multiple sheds have caught fire.
“The fire has been put out, but the incident is ongoing with the three crews still at the scene.”
