The incident was reported on Sunday 17 July.
A spokesperson for Notts Fire said:
‘Today at 11:26 am Eastwood fire crews  were mobilised to a grass fire on Halls Lane, Giltbrook.
‘The fire covered appropriately 10,000 sq m.
‘This was a very challenging incident due to the current weather.

‘But not ‘Heroes Drive’, some of them live on Wessex Drive.
‘The residents kindly provided a shelter and refreshments.
‘We cannot thank you enough.’
