London Road and Stockhill Fire Stations are collecting donations for Around Again, a baby bank supporting families in Nottingham with free preloved baby items.
The collections will be taken to The Vine Community Centre, Bobbers Mill, Nottingham. Items needed are highchairs, pushchairs, costs, sterilisers, breast pumps, bottle warmers, nappies, wipes and milk.
The Vine Community Centre said “with the cost of raising children growing every year, we are responding to the increasing needs of families within Nottingham, but we are currently in need of many items. Please can we ask for your help on more donations?”.
Chris Emmott, Group Manager at Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, said “These collections will support young families who may be struggling to afford clothing and equipment for their child. We want to do whatever we can to support people in our community.
“Money is tight for everyone right now, but if you have any preloved baby items sitting around, please consider bringing them down to either London Road or Stockhill Fire Stations. Thank you.”
You can also drop items off to The Vine Community Centre, Bobbers Mill Road, NG7 5GZ (Monday-Friday from 9am -3pm).
