Water rescue teams are at the Wilford Bridge area of the River Trent.
At 4:20 the service said in an update:
‘Following an extensive search of the area rescue operations have now concluded and the incident has been handed over to Nottinghamshire Police.’
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said at 3:30 pm on Saturday 20 July:
‘We currently have five appliances, water rescue unit and command support vehicle at the River Trent near the Wilford Toll Bridge following reports of a person in the water.
