Firefighters rescue cat stuck in car repair shop oven duct

Firefighters from Stockhill Fire Station Blue Watch successfully rescued a cat that had become trapped in a car bodywork shop’s oven duct system.

A spokesperson said:

‘We were called on Wednesday 14 September 2022 around 4pm to a bodywork shop in New Basford, Nottingham.

‘The owner of the business had heard the cat crying from within the pipes and it is believed that the cat could have been there for days it was freed.

‘Firefighters were assisted by the RSPCA and used small tools to rescue the cat.
