The service was called out overnight to deal with the incident.
Firefighters from Stapleford were called to the incident overnight.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
‘The incident was reported just after 10.30 pm on Monday 14 November in Bramcote.
‘Initially a hose reel jet was used, once a hydrant had been located and supplemented the major pump (or fire engine), this was upgraded to a larger main jet.
‘The incident was handed over to the construction manager around 45 minutes later.’
