A new coffee shop and tapas bar opens in West Bridgford today – and we have been given a first look inside the venue.
Kōnā begins its soft opening on Thursday, 23 July at 12 noon serving coffee, breakfast and lunch during the day before moving into tapas and cocktails later on.
The new venue is operated by the team behind established West Bridgford restaurants Yumacha and Uchi.
Kōnā sees itself more as a relaxed coffee bar where people can pop in and work, be with friends for coffee, breakfast and lunch or just a beer and a snack at the bar.
Its soft-opening period will run until Thursday, 30 July, giving customers an opportunity to try the food and drinks menus during the restaurant’s first week.
Kōnā is offering 30% off its food menu throughout the period for customers who book online. Diners must add the code INSTA30 to the comments section on Instagram when making a reservation for the discount to apply.
Bookings are now open, although the venue says tables during its opening week are limited.
