A popular shuttle bus for football fans heading to the City Ground by tram is set to return for Nottingham Forest’s first home match of the season.
On Tuesday night (August 7), Forest take on West Brom and NET has again teamed up with Skills Coaches to help supporters beat the traffic ahead of kick-off and after the final whistle.
The service is free for anyone with a valid tram ticket or concession pass and connects Nottingham Station tram stop – picking up at Arkwright Street – with Trent Bridge, just a short walk from the ground.
Stephanie Moss-Pearce, NET Marketing Manager, explained: “The bus will operate whenever Forest play at home and over the past few seasons it’s helped thousands of fans enjoy a hassle-free journey to the game without the worry of getting caught in traffic or finding a parking space.”
“For the new season we’ve also brought back our popular £2 Event Ticket which is available to match and season ticket holders from our tram stop ticket machines. It offers excellent value for anyone travelling to the game and customers coming from outside the city by car can save even more money by using our free park and ride facilities”
The shuttle bus service will be run every ten minutes for two hours before kick-off and an hour after the final whistle.
