Nottingham Forest are delighted to announce the signing of England international defender Carl Jenkinson.

The right back moves to The City Ground for an undisclosed fee from Premier League side Arsenal, penning a three-year contract.

The 27-year-old came through the ranks at Charlton Athletic before signing for The Gunners in 2011, going on to make 70 appearances in all competitions, including in the Champions League and Europa League and was part of the squad which finished runners-up in the Europa League last season.

Having featured for both England and Finland at youth level, Jenkinson made his debut for The Three Lions in 2012 against Sweden, and also added to his top flight experience during a two-season loan spell at West Ham.

Jenkinson now joins The Reds and is available for this Saturday’s visit to Elland Road to face Leeds United.
