Four arrested in Nottingham stabbing investigation

More arrests have been made as detectives continue to probe the stabbing of a teenage boy.

The 17-year-old victim was attacked during an incident in Oakdale Road, Bakersfield, at around 6pm on Monday.

He was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

This morning officers arrested a 19-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy. Both are being questioned on suspicion of wounding with intent.

It follows the arrests of two 20-year-old men on Tuesday on suspicion of wounding with intent. Both have since been released on conditional bail while detectives continue with their enquiries.

Detective Sergeant James Hirst, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “While we are continuing to make progress in our ongoing investigation we are renewing our appeal to people who may have any information about what happened, and who we have not yet spoken to, to please come forward.

“It is not too late to get in touch with us and the information they have, no matter how insignificant they think it may seem, could prove extremely valuable to our enquiries.”
