Four men were arrested following a fight at a Nottingham retail park.
Officers were called to the car park area at Midland Way Retail Park in Radford following reports of a group of young males fighting.
CCTV footage showed the men arguing before a physical altercation broke out.
Officers arrived and took two casualties, aged 21 and 22, to hospital. They have both been arrested on suspicion of affray.
The 21-year-old remains at the Queen’s Medical Centre and the 22-year-old is now in custody having been discharged from the hospital.
Two further suspects, both aged 23, were arrested on suspicion of affray a short time after the incident, which happened at around 8.15pm on Wednesday (21 February).
Detective Sergeant Simon Carter, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Two people had to be taken to hospital following this incident, which took place in a public place and was witnessed by a number of people.
“As we work to understand exactly what happened, we will continue to speak with those witnesses as our investigation continues.
“We have now arrested four people in connection with this incident, and hope the speed of our response provides some reassurance to the public about just how seriously we take reports of this nature.”
