Police have charged four suspects following a street fight that left two people with stab wounds.
Officers attended Woodborough Road, Mapperley, following reports of an altercation involving two groups of people.
Two men sustained stab wounds in the incident at around 3.35pm on Saturday (7 October), while a woman was also assaulted.
None of the victims suffered injuries that are believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.
Alwayne Barnes, 44, Carl Pearson, 40, Dale Burton, 41, and Charlene Reid have since been charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a knife in a public place and affray.
Reid, 35, was additionally charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Barnes, of Coventry, Pearson, of Carrington, Reid, of no fixed address, and Burton, of Bulwell, all appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday (9 October).
Pearson, Burton and Barnes were all remanded in custody, while Reid was released on conditional bail.
They are all next due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 6 November 2023.

“This was a very serious assault, so we are pleased to have been able to charge multiple suspects in connection with this and bring them before the courts.”
