Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a father have made another arrest.
Father-of-two Ricardo Cotteral, aged 33, died after being stabbed in Broad Street, in Nottingham city centre, shortly before 2am on Sunday 24 April.
He collapsed a short time later in Lower Parliament Street but despite the best efforts of paramedics, sadly passed away at the scene.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
He remains in custody as enquires continue.
Three men have previously been charged with murder.
Wade Smith, aged 36, of Helmsdale Gardens, Top Valley, Ijah Lavelle Moore, aged 30, of Woodfield Road, Broxtow, and Daniel Francis, aged 26, of Shakespeare Street, Nottingham city centre, have all been charged with murder.
Detective Chief Inspector Clare Dean, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our team of specialist detectives are continuing to work extremely hard to track down everyone involved to get justice for Ricardo’s family and friends.
“Our thoughts remain with Ricardo’s family and we are continuing to support them during this incredibly difficult time.
“I am pleased we have now made a further arrest in relation to this appalling act of violence.
“We are still very keen to speak to anyone who may have any relevant mobile phone or dash-cam footage of what happened.
“Any information, no matter how small, could be vital in our investigation so I would once again like to urge anyone with any information to come forward and speak to us.”
