Cheap places to eat
Asda
Asda’s cafes are offering food for kids for just £1 every day. For this deal, there is no required adult spend and has been extended all year round rather than limited to school holidays.
Morrisons
If you head down to your local Morrisons and purchase any one adult meal with a value of £4.50 or over, you will get one free kids meal.
Sainsbury’s
Kids eat for £1 with the purchase of an adult hot main from £5.20, from 11.30am every day at Sainsbury’s cafes.

Summer Travel Discounts
Sherwood Arrow bus – Free at weekends for the summer holidays – just hop on at Victoria Bus Station and start a great day out – Sherwood Forest and the Major Oak, White Post Farm, Wheel Gate Park, Rufford Park, Clumber Park to name a few.
Running all summer – up to a third off group bus tickets on all operators over the summer holidays across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Valid until 1 September, check with individual operators for details.

This free event encourages families to help the legendary Robin Hood find his merry friends hidden across various cultural venues in Nottingham city centre.
Beach
Nottingham’s favourite beach is back! Dig out your flip flops, pop on your shades and get ready for a summer of fun!
With sun, sand, rides, and games all summer long at the heart of the city centre in Old Market Square, it’s never been easier for a day out at the beach!
Wollaton Hall
Visit the Adventure Park at Wollaton Hall, open every day from 11-6pm until 1 September.
Kids can also enjoy the Outdoor ‘Superbeasts’ trail over the holidays. Tickets are £2, available at shops, cafés and Hall.
Wollaton Hall is also hosting several Open Air theatre showings over August, as well as Hacienda and Live At the Hall at the end of August.

Nottingham Castle
