West Bridgford Hockey Club will host a three-day beer festival in November, with free entry and a selection of 19 ales, ciders and lagers from independent producers.
The festival takes place at the club’s clubhouse on Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, from Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 November, opening at 5pm each day.
Darker beers on the line-up include Titanic’s Plum Porter Grand Reserve, Three Blind Mice’s Milk Worm milk porter and Black Iris’s Rise and Shine coffee milk stout. Bitters from Thornbridge, Rudgate, Brew York and Charnwood will also be available.
Golden ales and IPAs include Hop Back’s Summer Lightning, Oakham’s Green Devil IPA and Abbeydale’s Absolution, alongside pale ales from Vocation, Leatherbritches and Shiny. Shiny’s Krush Type Beats is gluten free.
The selection also features Thornbridge’s Lukas Helles lager, ciders from Lilley’s and PULP, and Final Whistle, a strong Australian-style pale ale from Front Row Brewing.
Club president Tim Roberts said: “We look forward to seeing you at our beer festival. You’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome and of course some lovely beer!”
