Nottinghamshire County Council’s Registration Service is hosting three wedding fayres this year to help loved-up couples plan their big day.
Couples will be able to find out more about the county’s rich array of venues and available services at the free-to-attend fayres in Mansfield, Newark and West Bridgford.
The special events have been organised throughout the year to provide couples with an opportunity to view the ceremony rooms, interact with registrars and meet with wedding service providers.
Attendees will also be able to enter a FREE RAFFLE to win a marriage or civil partnership ceremony at any of our registration offices in the district of Nottinghamshire (conditions apply).
On the day everyone will be able to find out what local services are available to make their big day special. A range of local wedding suppliers will be attending the events to inspire you on everything from flowers, wedding vehicles and wedding dresses to menswear, cakes, photography and hair and make-up.
The events will be taking place at:
- Mansfield – County House Wedding Fayre, 24 February 2024
- Newark – The Gilstrap Wedding Fayre, 16 March 2024
- West Bridgford – Bridgford Hall Wedding Fayre, 9 November 2024
Councillor Scott Carlton, Cabinet Member for Communities and Public Health, said: “Nottinghamshire is a great place to get married with lots of options for venues and our Registration service offers ceremonies to suit all couples.
“The Registration team works hard to help couples who are saying ‘I do’ plan their perfect day. The wedding fayres will certainly provide lots of useful information and ideas for anyone planning a wedding, as well as access to suppliers and industry experts.”
