Full weekend closures of the A52 Priory to QMC roundabout announced

National Highways announces full weekend closures of the A52 Priory roundabout to Queens Medical Centre (QMC) roundabout.

 

The next full weekend closures will take place from 8 pm on Friday, 24 January, to 6 am on Monday, 27 January, with a contingency date of the following weekend.

Between now and Christmas the following traffic management will be in place:

  • Lane one of the northern bridge, between the northbound entry slip road and southbound exit slip road for the A6514 Middleton Boulevard, is closed 24/7.

Monday to Friday, 8pm to 6am:

  • Northern section of QMC roundabout closed between Middleton Boulevard northbound entry slip and Middleton Boulevard southbound exit slip.
  • Middleton Boulevard closed in both directions beneath the QMC roundabout.

There will be another closure from 8 pm on Friday, 7 February, to 6 am on Monday, 10 February, with a contingency date of the following weekend.

The following roads will be closed:

A52 eastbound from Priory Roundabout to QMC Roundabout.

QMC Roundabout between the A6514 Middleton Boulevard northbound entry slip road and the A6514 Middleton Boulevard southbound exit slip road.

The A6514 Middleton Boulevard northbound entry slip road.

The A6514/A52 between the Clifton Boulevard exit and entry slip roads and Middleton Boulevard exit/entry slip roads.

Access for residents to and from Adams Hill and Oundle Drive will be provided by our on-site traffic management operatives.

Work will stand down for Christmas, but lane one of the northern bridge on the QMC Roundabout between the Middleton Boulevard northbound entry slip and the southbound exit slip will remain closed 24/7 for safety reasons.
