The announcement was made on 2 April by Nottingham University Hospitals.
Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further two patients have died having tested positive for COVID-19. Regrettably that means that 31 COVID-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.”
“The patients were aged 54 and 81, and died on the 25 and 30 March.”
“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
