Ginger Root reflects increased demand for creative industry with three hires

Nottingham-based creative brand agency and print house, Ginger Root, have recently hired three new full-time staff to help support the growing demand from their clients for marketing solutions.


“It’s been a challenging year for everyone, businesses included” said Managing Director Anthony Scoon. “However, the demand for digital brand support has definitely increased for us, which is a hugely positive indication for the industry as a whole.”

Creative Director, Alex Crabtree, added “A lot of businesses have had to adapt to become more digital and think more creatively than they did before. That’s where we’ve been able to provide support and where the industry as a whole appears to have experienced an increase in demand, which is great to see.”


This demand led to Ginger Root recently hiring three new members of staff covering graphic design, web development and business development.


Shauna Wilkinson, a recent master’s graduate of Graphic Media Design from the University of Arts London has joined the Creative Team. Shauna is an award-winning designer and a member of the Inter­national Society of Typographic Designers. She’s supporting the graphic design division with creative work for digital and printed outputs including social media graphics, brochures and e-marketing.

Account Director Katie Sutton ( main image ) has returned to Ginger Root to support with business development across all services. Katie has five years’ experience in the creative and marketing sector working with renowned brands such as McDonald’s and Poundstretcher.


Aliya Azeez joins the Web Team, bringing new skills and experience in web development to complement the existing team. She is a highly skilled full stack developer with a MTech (Master of Technology in Software Engineering) qualification. Aliya is supporting the teams with frontend and backend web development.

Director Anthony concluded, “Following a difficult year, it’s an exciting time for us and for the sector. We’re thrilled to have gained three new highly skilled individuals to our team

and we can’t wait to help more brands get back to business as usual.”
