Her family have been informed.
Inspector Charlotte Allardice said: ‘Nottinghamshire Police were called to Broxtowe Country Park shortly after 7am today ( 17 June) following a report of the sudden death of a 17-year-old girl.
“Her death is not being treated as suspicious at this time. Her family has been informed.”
A cordon was set up at the park this morning as police investigated, and is now removed.
