Heritage Open Days at Trent Bridge

Visit the Long Room in the 1886 Pavilion to learn about the history of the world-famous cricket ground and the County Club – including Trent Bridge in both World Wars.

Learn about the other sports that have been played on the hallowed turf, and the redevelopment plans for this historic building.

Then discover Trent Bridge’s best kept secret, the second-largest cricket library and archive in the world.

Meet the team of volunteers who are discovering and sharing the Library’s fascinating contents, learn more about the heritage programme at Trent Bridge, see book conservation in action, and have a go at cleaning a book.

With plenty of social history and local interest stories to hear, you don’t need to be a cricket enthusiast to enjoy a visit to Trent Bridge.
