Nottingham’s Victoria Centre has announced that fashion and retail giant, H&M, is set to open a new store at the centre.
The Swedish high-street and online favourite is relocating from its current Lister Gate store and will officially open its doors at Victoria Centre this Spring.
It will be located in a prime position in the centre, on the lower mall – in the former Topshop unit – spanning 2,177sqm.
Alongside its expansive women’s, men’s and children’s fashion offering, the new store will also be bringing to Nottingham its popular H&M Home décor collection, where shoppers can expect to find furniture, storage and lighting to soft furnishings and kitchenware.
News of the retail giant’s arrival follows the centre’s most recent addition, Levi’s, which opened in November, adding to its established collection of fashion retailers, including Urban Outfitters, Superdry, River Island and White Rose, as well as clothing and homeware brands like John Lewis & Partners and Next.
Kick-starting the year by welcoming H&M to the centre, Nigel Wheatley, centre director at Victoria Centre, said:
“We’re committed to providing our shoppers with the very best fashion and homeware brands, giving them access to both high-quality and affordable products – and H&M delivers just that.
“This is a significant new signing for us, kicking off what is shaping up to be an exciting year for our teams, and the centre.”
Victoria Centre is one of the UK’s most popular retail and leisure destinations, owned by property company, SGS, and asset managed by Global Mutual in conjunction with Savills as property managers.
