HMP Lowdham Grange in lockdown after Covid-19 outbreak

There have been a number of confirmed prisoner and staff cases of Covid-19 at HMP Lowdham Grange.

A spokesperson said:

‘As a result a number of prisoners are self-isolating and we have put in place a restricted regime with limited movements in the prison and regrettably have stopped all visits.

‘Our priority is to keep everyone safe and we are working with our NHS Healthcare partner and Public Health England to implement the best possible strategy to manage the virus.

‘For those who have a visit booked in the next 14 days, you will be contacted and asked to reschedule. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.’
