Hollygirt School is an independent school for girls and boys aged 3 to 16. It is opening its doors on Saturday 21st September for prospective families to come and see this wonderfully unique school.
The school, just a short walk from Nottingham city centre, is situated in four stunning Victorian houses along a pedestrianised avenue and provides a really homely feel with its old wooden flip-top desks and original fireplaces.
The school’s ethos is very much one of individuality. Every child is known to every member of non-teaching and teaching staff by name and personality. No child can go unnoticed at Hollygirt!
Small class sizes allow for the personal attention that is needed for our young people to fulfil their potential. Teaching groups do not go above 15 pupils in a class and many groups have less than 10 pupils in them.
Unlike most independent schools, Hollygirt does not have an academic entry requirement but still achieves outstanding GCSE results year on year. This August, 88% of papers sat achieved a grade 9 – 4 (equivalent of an A* to C grade in the old system).
If you’d like to see what a Hollygirt education is all about, why not attend their Open Morning on Saturday 21stSeptember at 10.00am? You can book online at: https://hollygirt.co.uk/open-day/
